Coastal Pines Technical College (CPTC) is proud to announce that it has once again been awarded the Leadership and Excellence in Attendance and Dedication (LEAD) Award at the Technical College System of Georgia’s (TCSG) annual Leadership Conference held in Savannah.

This marks the second consecutive year Coastal Pines has received the prestigious award, following its first win in 2025. The LEAD Award is the highest honor presented at the conference and recognizes the college whose Local Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Trustees demonstrate outstanding leadership, engagement, and commitment to excellence.

Metrics for the competition include conference participation, board certification, role model foundation status, member tenure, and diversity of business representation. Receiving this recognition for two consecutive years highlights Coastal Pines' continued commitment to excellence and the dedication of its board members, who generously contribute their time, expertise, and leadership to support the college and the communities it serves.

"To receive this award again is an incredible honor and a true reflection of the dedication of our Local Board of Directors and Foundation Trustees," said CPTC Interim President Amanda Foreman. "These individuals are passionate about Coastal Pines and the opportunities we provide to students throughout southeast Georgia. Their leadership, commitment, and continued support are instrumental in helping our college grow. We are incredibly grateful for all they do to support our students and communities."

Coastal Pines' Board of Directors and Board of Trustees play a vital role in advancing the college's mission to provide high-quality technical education and workforce development opportunities across southeast Georgia. Through their leadership, advocacy, and community engagement, these individuals help ensure the college continues to meet the evolving needs of students, local businesses, and industries throughout the region.
